Well, this is it.

The final hurrah.

The last straw.

Tomorrow night I get locked down for the night, just to make sure I don't go anywhere and do something retarded the night before the FTX.

I'm going with the interrogators. So, my FTX is shorter than everyone elses by a few days. Thank God, because tomorrows weather forecast is a balmy 14 degrees with winds of up to 35 mph.

I might have to ruck out with them on Friday morning, which with that weather, is going to suck. Hopefully, they'll call it off because of the weather.

Anyways, I'll be out of contact for the next 7 or 8 days. But there is a bright side to all of that.

From what my leave form says, I'll be home from 17 Dec 06 until 6 Jan 06. Which would ROCK!

Anywho.

I'm out. Catch y'all on the 8th or 9th.

Z.

Whoa...

This is ridiculous...

I have more than 1800 hits and yet I'm pretty much a half-decent, if not, below average artist.

It's crazy the amount of people have been here, be it friends or otherwise.

I dunno...

I may just be retarded.

The weekends here at AIT... and thinking...

It's amazing the things I've been able to write/type when I have the time to do so.

The weekends here are an absolute necessity. And I do mean absolute. They're here when they are, and rarely when they're not.

The break is nice, but idle bodies bring unwanted thoughts or ones that are pleasing to one's memory, but always remind the thinker of times long gone and wishes left unfufilled. However, they do give you the time to plan the next days events. Unfortunately, not a one of us can control how they will actually fall into place, and in the same aspect, everything we do changes the events that happen to us. Fate is inevitable, but it's up to you how inevitable it really is.

When you spend the days idle, your mind wanders into unknown, or unfrequented realms that have effects on you that you cannot change. In most ways, they shouldn't change, nor will you have the ability to change them. It's strange though, how the one's you think you could have no bearing on the final outcome or decision are the one's that you can alter.

Yet, you have to ask yourself, should you try to change them and have the possibility of causing more harm than good, or leave them be, and see what the future may bring? And that, my friends, is where the true question lies. It is a true enigma that no one will ever be able to solve, and that many should never try to solve. Fate, if it truly exists, is an enigma too large for anyone person to comprehend. Yes, we can grasp the concept of it, however, the abtract ideal that it encompasses is too much for the human mind, which is one reason that I believe it causes one to turn back to thoughts that you can't control, and why it forces your mind to think of memories that brought you happiness to distract you from the true idea of fate, or memories that you could've acted in a different way or manner that could've made the outcome completely different and therefore, bringing a certain type of depression to your mind, proving to you that fate cannot be changed.

I don't know yet if it is able to change, but I will not live my life in such a thought process that what happens to me just happens and I have no bearing on it. That ideal is for idle minds and therefore, idle bodies, which in turn starts this entire process over again.

Fate, as I keep referring to it as, has no boundaries and is not feasible to most people. Understandably, it is an abstract enigma, making it even more difficult.

Please take the time to read that. Just take a moment, it might bring light to a situation of your own.

Fourth Squad, you're the Sack Squad. Sack... ARM

The Army...

Mood: Agreeable Keeping busy...
Listening to: Chords of Life - Joe Satriani

Is keeping me busy.

Do this, that, and the other thing.

You've got 2 minutes.

Go.

Yes, Drill Sergeant.

Crazy stuff, I tell you.

I made it all the way through basic without getting pointed out...

Well, at least until the end.

That's when I pulled the old shaving cream stunt.

And now, here at AIT, I'm known for playing hackey sack, which the 8 of us who are in the Sack Squad, now know is not allowed during the duty day.

So, on Thursday, we ran the better part of a mile, then had to do 73 push ups because we were 73 seconds over 2 minutes in doing it.

So, yeah...

I'll talk to you all later.
